Video of the past few months

So, no one's really posted anything lately. To entertain you, here is a clip with Jon Stewart.

Dr. Horrible

If this banner alone isn't enough to make you click on this, then I'm not sure you're the sort of person I care to associate with.

Go there before midnight on July 20, before it stops being free.

Something to strive for...

His name may be Dyers (or it may not be. I'm not sure, actually), but this man has the Schreiber Beard Challenge in his heart:

Pointless Diversion

One way to get around your blog having no content is to borrow other sites' content. This is from a site called graphjam, which is made up of user-submitted graphs. First person to reply with what this graph is about wins...um... something.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mommy Day to Melody, Jenny, and Lisa! As my grandma said today, "Well, I can't congratulate you yet, but hopefully next year!" Ah, the pressure to have kids begins.

All Hail Dan!

This is my public pronouncement that Daniel Schreiber (SSN 342-56-458247) was the first to find details of the soon-to-be-deployed peanut allergy immunological remedy. I furthermore wish to pronounce that my pointing out that the allergist quoted in the article was one of Natalie's personal physicians and that we had some previous inkling of this was not, as some have claimed, an effort to one-up him, but an attempt to show his discovery was even more fascinating that he had realized.

All glory to Dan!

Moving soon

Hey guys,

Just a little update on the moving situation.  My graduation is May 17th, and we're moving to Columbus around the 22nd, as soon as we can pack up/sell/throw away all our stuff.  Jenny and Todd, have the Donato's ready.

A response to Eric's post

I found this amusing. You might not. Here you go anyway.

Two unimportant points...

Here are two totally unrelated things to note:
  1. Battlestar Galactica starts up again tomorrow night. I don't want to spoil the finale if you haven't gotten around to it yet (they're showing it right before the new episode), but it was deeply odd (the soundtrack especially), and I'm very interested to see where it goes.
  2. If Clinton claims her very detailed description of completely untrue sniper fire is the product of "sleep deprivation", how come nobody is pushing that against her televised claim that she's the one we want to answer the crisis call when the phone rings at 3:00 AM?

Wedding photos II

The wedding photos are here. The files are huge. We'll make copies of the CD as soon as we can. In the meantime, I won't bore you with pictures of adults. I know the baby pictures sell.

The girls paid very good attention during the ceremony

And they were cute after the ceremony.

Hilarious.

Stinky!

I just wanted to mention that I think it's hilarious that you called this the Vesuvian blog. I still very clearly remember sitting in the fast food restaurant with you and Stephen and Chris talking about potential citizen reactions to their impending doom. I'm just glad that's a touchpoint for someone else.

That's about all I have, except that I recently found a post-it I wrote to myself at work last year which said, in its entirety, "08 Budget." I'm still trying to figure out why I thought that was so important that I needed to write it down. It's funny, because at the time I would have written the note, the '08 budget was the only thing I was working on, and is really the entire point of my job. It's similar to Eric writing a note to himself that says "physics." Trust me, it's funny.

I'm not a good blogger.

2008 Beach House

I've gone ahead and reserved the beach house for this summer. Should be pretty nice.

Gwen and Nat might never make it past that staircase. Looks like we'll have a nice stretch of beach pretty much all to ourselves, too.

A full description of the house can be found here. Among the notable features are a 47" plasma TV (a step down, I realize, for the Columbus folk, but the rest of us should appreciate it), a hot tub, and a pool with "Night Colors", where "Night", I assume, means "Oddly Lit".

Wedding photos

Hey everyone,

We just got an e-mail from the photographer giving us the link for previewing the wedding photographs. Just go here, and enter the username Schreiber Wedding. The password is 17890. You can order pictures from there, or you can wait until Stephen and I get the CD in the mail with all the proofs, and we will just send you the digital photos for you to print. Enjoy!

EDIT: Apparently the photos are priced in gold bars or something, so just hold tight until we get the actual files to print out for a 1000% discount. Meanwhile, enjoy the proofs.

An image test, but a happy one

I'm still trying to figure out this blog thing, so I thought I'd try to post a picture or two. To make it worth your valuable websurfing time, I will make these pictures cute.

As an aside, digital cameras lead to very out-of-control habits. We took 95 pictures on Easter. Just on our camera. Which was one of three flashing away.

Anyway, here is Andrew experiencing the triumph of the Easter Egg hunt:

and here is Natalie enjoying her chocolate bunny:

Well, that was easy.
